Connecting to a remote access database.

I have been trying to access an Access database ,which is located on a remote machine not connected to our network.

I usually access the database through the FTP site but it takes a lot of time if I need to make any alterations.Is there some way I can access the database from my machine through the internet and update it as required?

If you are using NT4 or above look up VPN (Virtual Private Networking). There is info in VBHelp and your OS Help showing how to set up and operate this Let me know if this helps
