Connecting to a BayStack 250 hub

I am trying to telnet to a 250 hub, but am not sure whether I have the correct IP address. The hub has an IP labelled on it, but when I try to telnet using that IP, I get a blank screen when I send a ctrl-y to enter the management program. Is there any way to find the correct IP or enter the menus without an IP. Thanks.

Oops! I tried using hyperterminal instead, and it worked like a charm.

Good! Btw.. Hyerterminal, don't use that M$ software.
Next time use Teraterm

Teraterm works fine for me, and it also is a telnet/ssh client..

Hyperteminal, is still a M$ thing if you ask me.. private edition or not..
