Hi,

I have two SQL-Server, mySQL and MSQL-Server, and I want to execute a query with a join over two tables out of both SQL-Server. One table is a mySQL table and the other is a MSQL-Server table.
In Access I can connect the MSQL-Server Table (ODBC) in the Access DB and can execute the query.

Is this possible ?
Does anybody know another solution to join two table out of two SQL-Server ?
My last question, does MySQL-Server support Join-queries between mySQL-Server DBs ?

Thanks a lot

No, neither MySQL nor MSSQL can do that. Each server is responsible for its own databases and only its own databases. In fact, if both servers were one brand or the other, I do not believe that either could perform a cross-server join.

The reason Access can do this is because it's not a database server. It is a database access engine which can use non-native database sources.
