Hi - Can a connection between an SPA-24DT card in a 2400 be connected to an OPen Source A102 be done without a separate T1 provider? The 2400 does have T1 service but can this addition connection be made for another application?

Thanks,

Barbara

First there is no such thing as a SPA-24DT card in a 2400. Second, what is an OPen Source A102? I assume you are talking about the Sangoma A102 board?

That said, I would say the answer is probably yes, depending on what is driving the A102 and your 2400 knowledge.

If you have an NEC2400 with an SPA-24DTR card, or a SPA-24PRT card, and you want to connect that to an open source pbx (maybe asterisk) with a Sangoma A102, then the answer is YES. You can do it. I just did it a month ago with a 24-PRT card from the NEC side, connecting to Asterisk with Sangoma.
