I would like to know something, some say yes its possible , others say no.

I would like to connect a laptop i have to my network using his serial (or paralel) port. Someone know for sure if its possible, then if so, where i could find the pin out?

A glass of water can be or half empty or half full. For engineers, its twice bigger than needed.

You can't connect your serial directly to ethernet.

You can connect your serial to an adapter that will then connect to ethernet.
