Hey, all.
We've been kicking around a couple of ideas for some of the bigger accounts we have. We specialize in the IP Office, but for 2-3 of our big customers we install the One-X Quick Edition due to the size of their stores. However, we are looking to resolving some of the costs for each location having individual phone lines--
I'm wondering if anyone has tried connecting a Quick Edition (or another type of SIP-based gateway) to an IP Office via SIP Trunks. The ideal goal here is to have 1-2 PRI's on the IP Office, and have multiple stores (using One-X phones) call back to the IP Office for incoming/outgoing. That way, the customer consolidates their many phone lines into a single bill, and thus saving them money. Of course, this would also give us the opportunity to move some of their older sites off Merlin/Partner systems and onto the Quick Edition.
Just a random thought and question. Any thoughts on the idea would be appreciated. We may still leave 1 copper line per location specifically for 911 dialing, as trying to organize 30+ locations with the different police departments would most likely be a complete and utter disaster.
Thanks in advance!
