I have a customer who has a CXi and MXE and wants to connect IP trunks between them with a DSL connection connected to the WAN ports on each box. I have all the licensing and am looking into the bandwidth management to make sure they do not overload the upload rate on the line. Is there anything else I should be watching out for?

how fast is the DSL connection, and how many trunks do you need? I've had customers try to run IP phones from a remote 3300ICP over a low-end DSL line, with disastrous results.

2-3 trunks with a upload rate of 512K.

is it a point-to-point circuit, or is there a provider network involved here? I'm going to assume the latter, which could introduce a whole new set of issues.

You've got plenty of bandwidth to handle a handful of trunks, but I wonder what kind of latency or other issues the DSL network will introduce here.
