I have a Micros ws4 I setup a tm-88 and a u220b. I one reciept printer to print via IDN. I redirected the kitchen printer to that one. I set com 5 for that one idn1. The printer is number 1. This one works how do I setup numbers 2.
Also when ever I void a ticket and pay the 0.00 it prints in two places.
I also have another rs422 port I am wondering if I should crimp ends onto a cat 5 cable and just try to use to com ports one for each printer. One for the kitchen printere and one for the thermal reciept printer.

Thanks again for replying to my last post helped lots.

You will need to set a unique IDN ID using the DIP switches on the back of the card on the printer. Beagle Hardware (search micros idn card) has the step-by-step process, then set the printer definition (in POS Configurator, presuming 3700) to use the appropriate workstation, IDN port, and speed.

As for the printing in two locations, check your print classes.
