I have a customer that has multiple locations and they want to connect with 4 digit dialing and centeralized vm

I am quoting them at main location bcm 400 at the smaller offices BCM 50's they will have they will have circuits between the locations - what do I need to put in to make the locations talk back and forth

MCDN for CLID and centralized VM. And VOIP trunks at each site it depends how much call traffic each site will need the main should have more. Also QOS on the circuits.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I'm proposing a similar setup for a customer and I have a question about the VoIP trunking.
There are SIP gateway trunks and VoIP gateway trunks keycodes avaialble. Can you explain to me the difference and the application for each.

Thanks for the help.

i got confused with this also. but i think SIP gateway license is when you will use SIP trunking. VOIP gateway if you will use H.323. i might be wrong though

I think you only need SIP gateway trunks if you will be registering to a SIP provider. If you're just connecting voip trunks between BCMs, just use H.323. When you are configuring them, you can select SIP as your protocol.

I too stand to be corrected if someone else knows for sure though.
