Morning All,

I want to connect a BCM50 and IP500 by h.323 trunk, i have the licensing on the BCM50 end (VoIP Gateway) and the "Voice Networking Channel" on the IP500 side.

I made h.323 line on the IP500 with the gw to the remote end (BCM50) with custom codecs g.729 and G.711 ulaw. I set the supplementary services to IP Office SCN but I think it needs to be QSIG, I believe the BCM only supports that, correct me if i'm wrong. I put a short code in the Avaya IP Office "23XX, dial, 23N, line group ID 6" i tested that and it does go out the correct h.323 trunk but gives a busy signal.

On the BCM50 end, I put in h323 trunk route tab
- destination digits: 4
- ip: 172.25.xx.xx
- port: 0
- gw type: other
- mcdn: none

under the lines tab, I see the lines.
- Trunk Type
- VOIP and its in Pool:BlocA
- Trunk Type
- Loop and its public

I might be missing something on the BCM50 end which I haven't dealt with a whole lot on setting up trunks. Would a user on the BCM end need a "intercom" or internal call button for the calls to go through? Let me know what you think.

Its only supported using SIP. In my experience H.323 will ring the phone on the BCM side, but you wont get an audio path.

Did you configure tarket lines for each user on the bcm.
