Connecting AS/400 email to MS Exhange

Is there a way to connect the as/400 email smtp server to send email through the MS exchange in the same domain? We need to send emails out through the internet from the 400 without actually putting the 400 on the web, perish the thought.

Under the CHGSMTPA command put your exchange server in MAILROUTER Variable. Any mail not destined for local AS/400 addressing with then forward through your exchange server.
