how can i protect the server from users deleting items on the server. I would like to use the "nmenu" and use win95 as an option. so they can run office, or attach to the unit that has a modem to send "e-mail"<br>
Thanks,<br>

To protect files on a server. Run FILER.EXE from \PUBLIC and select the directory. Then select the directory you wish to restrict and select, I think its director assignments.

You can then view the list of users who have rights here, modify, delete or add accordingly.

Dont forget you can also change right by user in SYSCON.

If you use NMENU and wish to restrict it. Globalise NMENU (Making users run it from Server) and make the directory read only to user as above.

Hope this is of help
