Hello. I am trying to connect a Nortel StarTalk flash 2 port voicemail unit to a Nortel DR5 6X16 phone system. I am having some trouble making it work. I have it wired to pair 25. I can't get any of the feature codes to login to the voicemail such as feature 983, 982, 981, etc. Whenever I type those codes in, it comes back with an "inactive feature" message. I made sure the extension port works, which it does. I have also tried disconnecting power and applying power to both the startalk flash and the 6X16, as well as also trying to use **XFTEST to delete/reset the voicemail feature codes - but it won't work either. Any help, steps, or advice would be much appreciated!!! Thanks a lot!
