Hello,
My workplace has a network antivirus installed on Windows 2000 server, so in oder to get automatic updates one must log on to server's domain.
My PC is a client on a Redhat Linux server(and thus using a private IP). My problem is I am unable to even 'see' and connect to the windows 2k server's domain.
Is there anything I should on the win2K server, RH server or my PC to able to connect to the domain?

I am a newbie anyway, so I hope I was able to state my problem clearly. Thanks

In order for a non-Win32 machine to participate in a Microsoft network, that machine should run Samba.

There is a forum for the product in Tek-tips.
