Hi All,
I've been working on a old Panasonic KX-TD1232, setting up/installing some additional extensions and doing some general programming.
I have been asked if I could connect the system to their PA system, which is situated about 8 metres from the 1232 in a room the floor below.
Admittedly I have never connected a PA system before. I have run a 10m RCA cable from the first external paging port to the PA amplifier.
Now the final stage is connecting the RCA cable to the PA amplifier, this is where I'm stuck (I don't want to connect incorrectly)
The PA amplifier has 4 inputs, these are the specs written by them:
MIC 1 (3.5mm) - 600 Ω Balanced
MIC 2 (3.5mm) - 600 Ω Balanced
AUX 1 (RCA) - 10k Ω Unbalanced
AUX 2 (RCA) - 10k Ω Unbalanced
I am unsure which input I should use? Should I use a simple RCA to 3.5mm adapter and connect to one of the MIC inputs or should I connect the RCA lead straight to one of the AUX inputs?
Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Del
