Sir,
I was able to connect to a access database using the following code, succesfully. But unable to connect to foxpro database. Kindly help, as I am new to these.
<HTML>
<BODY>
<B>Here are my friends:<B><BR>
<%
Set MyConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
MyConn.Open "FILEDSN=c:\dsn\MyTable_dsn.dsn"
SQL_query = "SELECT * FROM Friends"
Set RS = MyConn.Execute(SQL_query)
WHILE NOT RS.EOF
%>
<LI><%=RS("Name")%>: <A HREF="<%=RS("Link")%>">Homepage</A>
<%
RS.MoveNext
WEND
RS.Close
MyConn.Close
%>
</BODY>
</HTML>
Note: The access datbase is in d:\ (root), the dsn file for it is in c:\dsn folder called mytable_dsn.dsn , the table is 'friends' which has got the fields 'Name' and 'Link'.
The foxpro database table called friends.dbf is in d:\manoj_web folder, its dsn file (dbase 3) in c:\dsn\mytable_dsnv.dsn .
Thanking you in advance
M.Manoj
