I'm trying to implement a new BCM install. The BCM needs to connect via the WAN interface through a non-channelized T1 back to another office. At the remote office is a Cisco 1710. Upon doing a SHOW INTERFACE on the Cisco I verify that I do have a signal. The LAN is up, the PPP is UP, and all other settings show they are up. The Cisco is configured with the LAN as 192.168.1.3 and the PPP as 192.168.2.3. The BCM is 192.168.2.7 for the PPP and 192.168.1.4 for the LAN. I'm not able to pass any packets back and forth. The goal is to allow the Main site to receive internet access and file sharing from the remote site.
If anyone has configured anything like this before and could share their configuarations for the Cisco & the BCM I would be greatly appreciative.
So far the company installing the BCM is unable to get adequate information from Nortel to provide adequate configuration information for the CISCO.
If anyone has .PDF manuals for configuring a BCM I would appreciate that as well.
