Trying to tie 2 merlin systems together (1 legend, 1 magix) with fiber approximately 1600ft apart. Fiber has LC connectors on both ends. Told that I need to convert fiber to analog using a some type of 'surgegate device that converts the signal.'
Can anyone assist with the type of 'surgegate' device I need? The only thing I can find is surge protection for lines and power but no mention of fiber conversion.
