We are looking at connecting 2 pbx from sister compaines. Both of which have just recently upgraded to nortel systems
1 is running a Meridian1 option61c, using symposium for call routing. The other is running a BCM (waiting on exact model). Any thoughts on making the 2 talk to each other?

The idea is we are on seperate side of country. With support running at both location we would like site with Merdian to host numbers, and then forward to BCM as hours or call flow allow.

IP trunks would do what you need to to. Keep in mind that you can't have Symposium agents at the BCM site, but you could overflow out of Symposium to the BCM.

If the BCM were an SRG, you could have agents at that site as well.

Ok just found out that the BCM is a version 3.7. I am new to the telcom world (coming from networking) What is SRG?
