Hiya All

Hope you can help

Ive recently getting Broadband through AOL and i want to link this to both pcs, i have win 2000 on one pc and windows ME on an other, both pcs are sharing through a cross over cable but how do i get them to use the same internet connection cause it only works on one.

Cheers Dave

Go buy a router for about $50-$60. Configure the DSL modem as a bridge, hook the two PCs into the LAN side of the router, hook the DSL modem into the WAN side of the router, now go into the router setup and put all your login info in it and you should be ready to rock. The setup manuals with the router will have detailed instructions.

An alternative to buying a router would be to set up ICS (internet connectin sharing), you can do a search on google and find a tutorial to set this up.
