Connecting 2 Exchange 2000 servers

I have 2 exchange 2000 servers.
One is setup voor .nl domain and the other is been setup for .com and they are in 2 different forests.

I want to be able with my .nl credentials to access the .com mailbox from my pc with Outlook XP.

I'm able to access the .com mailbox via OWA but when I want to setup the Outlook client the other Exchange server for any user I get the message: "The name could not be matched to a name in the address list"

What can I do to make this work?

Have you checked if the name can be resolved?
Can you ping the server using the .nl name from the client? From the client, can you go to the command prompt and type nslookup. Then hit enter and type the domain.nl and tell us what you get? If you get any errors doing these steps, you problem is DNS.
