I currently have a Mac running OS X and a Windows XP computer sharing an internet connection, through the Mac via an Airport card and wireless USB adapter. Having established an ISDN connection and internet connection sharing, I turned to my PC to find that it detects the Mac.

Its got its own 10.x.x.x ip address and all. However I cannot access the internet. I remember days ago this arrangement used to work but I forgot I what I did to get to this stage. Similarly I "was" able to access my Mac folders having enabled personal file sharing on the Mac but now when I try to add a network folder on the PC, I'm told "the folder you entered does not appear to be valid"

Oh I remember now, I just installed SP2, do you think thats the problem?

Thanks.

Could be. Check the XP settings to see if it has changed security levels, blocked ports in the firewall, that sort of thing. A big part of the SP2 update was security issues that may have directly impacted your Mac's ability to get into the sysatem.
