I am trying to connect db2 UDB on win 2000 to a db2 400.
I am getting the following error message when i connect.

SQL5048N The release level of the database client is not
supported by the release level of the database
server.

Explanation: Database clients can only access database servers
with a release level which is in the range of one level lower
than the client to two levels higher than the client.

User Response: One or more of the following:

o Upgrade the client release level to fall within the range of
releases supported by the current server release level.

o Upgrade the server release level to a level supported by the
current client release level.

i don;t know the version of db2 on as400.How do I determine that.If the version of the db2/400 is lower than the client udb..how do i go about it.

Thanks,
