i have one win2000 server with two network cards. one (say card A) connect to one of network (say network A). The other card (say card B) connect to other network(say network B).

I found that this win2000 server can only ping one of network at the same time.(ie. When i disable card A, I can ping the PC in network B. Vice versa, when I disable card B, I can ping the PC in network A.)

How can I set in win2000 server to ping the PC in these two network at the same time?

thanks,

Is there a seperate gateway (router) for each network? Are they on different subnets?

yes, i found that both network card has same subnet and same group of ip. It is ok after I use different subnet in these two network.

thanks,

If each NIC is part of a seperate IP subnet, that should correct the problem you're having.

Good luck.
