Dear friend:

I installed apache-1.3.20 and Tomcat3.2.3. Mod_jk.so is produced and coped to /usr/local/apache/libexec/ directory.

/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf file was edited and a line " Include $TOMECAT_HOME/conf/mod_jk.conf-auto"
was added at the end of the file

Then Apache and Tomcat both were stopped and started successfully. and Tomcat was started first

When connecting Apache with Tomcat. In the brower when I delete ":8080" to display a Tomcat page,
I get the following message:
============================================================

Check your permissions if they are set correctly, check the ownership of the dierctory and files. For example who can access the files? apache or tomcat? Who needs to access them?
