Connect to Server with PervasiveSQL7 with PervasiveSQL200i workgroup

I'm trying to access data on a server with PervasiveSQL 7 on it, using a PervasiveSQL2000i workgroup installation. The connection to the server is via TCP/IP (mapped network drive).
Is this possible?

What I've done so far is install the workgroup engine and create the database in PCC. No error messages here, but when I try to access the tables by simply clicking on them in PCC I get an error message (status code 20) Microkernel or Btrieve requestor is inactive.

Can anyone help me? Thx.
