Good Day,

I logged onto to the Symposium web client this morning and I had the following error message “Connect to SCCS Server is failed”. Besides the grammer, any idea what’s wrong. I cleared it, but while working with the script manager it comes up from time to time and I am not able to save my changes.

Running Symposium 5, users haven't complained about anything else, so I assume the rest of the applications are running smooth.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Has someone changed the sysadmin password? or the password that the webserver uses to access the SCCS?

The sysadmin password (for the PC client) has not changed neither has the webadmin. The ICEADMIN password may have changed. What does the password change have to do with anything?

The sysadmin password is entered into the configuration portion fo the web client so that the web server can log into the SCCS. If the password has been changed, but you have not updated the Web Server, it will not connect.

To the best of my knowledge the sysadmin password has not changed. When I am prompted to enter in the username and password for the script manager section of the webclient, it is accepted and I am able to work until the error "Connect to SCCS Server is failed" pops up.

Where can I check/change the sysadmin password?

It is in the "Configuration" component of web client. You will see the server IP address there and a user name and password.

are you having issues with your elan?? is the server setup 10 half to the PBX?? do you have any 3rd party software that is being effected?? I had and a issue like this that the elan would drop and restore drop and restore..... I had to change out the elan card on the PBX..Nortel is aware of the issue but to date they are just saying they are aware.
