Connect to printers via script

Is it possible to connect to a printer via IP from NT4.0 server?

I have a very basic login script that handles mapping drives but has nothing to do with printing.

Is this at all possible.

that also depend on what kind of network printer you are talking about (you mentioned print via IP)
