Connect to offices via modems on Ethernet?

Setup: We have two offices. Each has a high speed MICROWAVE wireless internet connection. This works great for internet browsing and file transferring, but horrible for VoIP.

The main office has 10 desk phones. The branch office has two desk phones, the 'dispatcher' phones.

We have a functioning VPN between the two offices over the wireless link which they (branch office) use to transfer files and connect remotely to our terminal server.

The main office has all our servers and a PBX VoIP (Elastix) server. I also have all of the Grandstream GXP1200 VoIP phones configured to work with the PBX. (and they all work fine when plugged into the network at the main office)

Goal: Good voice clarity for VoIP phones at remote office location.

Partial Plan: Get 12x POTS lines at our main office location with rollover from one to the next. Also get 6x lines (1x fax, 1x backup, 4x to connect to main office) at branch office.

Now what I would need is some kind of modems that trunk over four POTS lines to give me acceptable speed and clarity. Does anyone know of anything out there that does this? PCI modems for a computer are not that expensive, so I guess I could get two old PCs, stick 4x modems in them and do a trunking setup, but I'm looking for a smaller, quieter solution.

Does anyone know of any modems out there for trunking 2 to 4 phone lines together to get acceptable VoIP end-to-end speeds?

Thanks! :)

Not sure what any of that had to do with "Ethernet".
It sounds like the solution you do NOT want to hear about is QOS on your existing lines.
Back in the day, before VoIP, I used Webramp 3xx routers to bond 3 56k modems, I am glad I am over that.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Well, this IS a question about ethernet over copper. :)

I've tried QOS on our router with our existing wireless internet connection, but it makes little difference. Our microwave wireless connection is shared with other people on the same AP, and sadly I do not have authority to tell our ISP to change the QOS on their router at the AP.

Looking at Webramp 300 routers; Wow, what a tangle. I was hoping for a one-in-all device that could dial multiple lines. :) It looks like I'll only be using two POTS lines after all (Qwest wants $28 per line for each site, so this connection would be $112/mo).

It looks like I'll dig up a couple old computers and put 2x pci modems in them. (almost free online now). Now for TinyXP and a install script.

Thanks!
