Connect to multiple wireless networks at the same time

Is there any way to connect to two different wireless networks at the same time using one wireless card?

What I'm trying to do is this...I'm trying to connect in ad-hoc mode to an HP printer that is using a wireless HP JetDirect 380x to print and at the same time connect to a network via a 3Com 7250 Access Point. So far I can connect to each one individually but not at the same time.

My wireless network card is a 3Com 11a/b/g Wireless PCI Adapter.

Ad Hoc and Infrastructure modes are exclusive. One or the other.

Since an AP is involved, there is no reason not to use infrastructure througout.

Your HP printer can be reconfigured to make you happy.
