I CONNECT TO MY DIAL-UP ISP,NO PROBLEM.WHEN ATTEMPTING TO BROWSE,NOTHING! THE CONNECTION INDICATOR IN THE TASK BAR SHOWS NO ACTIVITY,NOT EVEN ONE FLASH.I HAVE REINSTALLED BOTH IE5 AND OPERA 5.12,NEITHER ONE WILL BROWSE.I AM USING ANOTHER COMPUTER ON THE SAME CONNECTION AND HAVE NO PROBLEM,SO THERE IS SOMETHING HAPPENING IN THE COMPUTER THAT IS CAUSING THIS.I TRIED USING ANOTHER MODEM AND GET THE SAME RESULTS.THIS IS A NEW PROBLEM IN A MACHINE THAT WORKED FINE YESTERDAY.

DOn't shout mate! By the way, the CAPS lock is on the left-hand side of the keyboard.

Try comparing the settings on the working one against the one that doesn't. Maybe the network settings? Also check that there is nothing in the Internet Setup causing the issue.

Have you been to a website that may have caused this??? "It's true, its damn true!"

Hi guy

I have had this problem before and uninstalling "Norton Internet Security" (Note: A Clean uninstall) resolved my problem 3 times. I was able to reinstall Internet security after It was working again.

Good Luck
Russ
