I am looking for a way to access the console of my aix box via the web. The firewall does not allow ssh or telnet through(for very good reason). I was wondering if there was a product that I could run on the aix box that would allow me to have a console access. Sort of like novells web interaction?

httpd's usually dont serve as VPN/other access gateways - but you can setup another box for shell access and/or vpn and get access you need .

anyway you can use your servers httpd's proxy features to allow world access to your network and relay others attacks to your intranet and the rest of the world

I don't want http access to the rest of the intranet from the internet, jut to the one administration box. I can then use this to give me access to the other servers if I need it. As I said, telnet and even ssh(as well as ftp) are blocked from entering (not necessarily exiting) the local intranet. I was hoping for something similar to the way I administer my linux boxes or novell box remotely.

as I said - you can setup proxy solely for your home IP adress and access whatever you need on your webserver and behind
