I have an ftp server on my lan that I would like to be able to use to backup certain files. I am looking to write a program that I can select a file and then select where to save it on the server. Is this as simple as telling the file list box to look at the server's name or ip? Or do I have to write/use an ftp class?

What idarke says, but also, yes it could be as simple as using the file list box depending on your network settings as well as the requirements for your project.
