I need to connect a Novell network to a Windows 2000 network. The group and user account have been created on the netware server. The Gateway and client services have been installed on the Windows 2000 server. The account and permissions have been established. When I attempt to connect to the Netware server from the Windows 2000 gateway I get the error "You cannot be authenticated on XXX_TREE due to the following reason: The network path was not found. Do you want to select another preferred server or context?

The Windows 2000 network is behind Microsoft ISA server. I can ping the Netware server.Where should I start looking?

The gateway services for NetWare on 2k are only bindery aware. To get the NDS, you will need to install a Novell Client on the win2k server.

However, you are using NetWare 6, you have NFAP as an option.

The Gateway (and client) for Netware piece in Windows 2000 installs a client on the server. This client should authenticate to the Netware server and provide the gateway for the internal users granted the appropriate permissions. I administer the Windows 2K network, the Novell network is at a remote location. There is a static route between the two locations.
