Connect to 2 different DB's

Running Crystal Reports 10.

I have a program that stores data on a SQL server. The program also generates an access database when a user requests it, with aging data for a finance dept.
I am having a problem getting the same data from the SQL server and would like to use the data put into the access database and one extra field from the SQL server. I know that it's a like going around the block to cross the street but I need a quick fix until I can get the full data from the SQL server.

Can this be done?
