Connect Real Time base

Hello there.

here I go again.

To control the contact center our managers want to create dashboard with the online datas from CMS.
Because they don't like the CMS view...
Well, now I have to create some dashboards with this informations.
Is it possible to connect the base to extract this data?
Are Real time base and Hystorical Base the same or are different bases?
How can I connect Real-Time base? Anyone can do this ?
