Connect PowerBuilder to Access and an get error message

I get this message when trying to open the tables.
Table xyz has no columns, possible invalid table format.

I have an access Database that was distributed with
an MDW file (workgroup).

I created an ODBC profile, connected from PowerBuilder
The PowerBuilder catalog tables were not created
automatically as expected. So I created them myself
I also, set PBNoCatalog=1 in pb.ini under that profile.

All did not resolve that message.
Ideas anyone?
