Connect HP Laserjet 1100 to USB Mac

I have acquired an HP Laserjet 1100 which has an unusual cable. Thle converter providers and cable outlet from the printer is not USB, but one I have not used before and the supplied cable is terminated as a 25 pin male parallel. How do I convert this to USB? I haver searched the can't seem to find what I need. I'm open to either a converter at the end of the cable, or a total replacement cable. Please let me know the terminology of the connectors and where to buy a solution in the UK preferably.
