Connect Error Assgnd Port Busy

I received a call this morning from a user located at a remote location. 5 of their phones are displaying a retry timer. After the retry timer counts down to zero, an error displays"
"Connect Error
Assgnd Port Busy"

These 5 extensions are connected via a fiber extender to a BCM200. I would place the blame on the fiber extender, but all its tests pass. Also, the other extensions which live on the fiber extender are all operating properly.

Does anyone know how to fix this?!?!
 
So if you have other ip phones working off the same link I would look at the sets. Verify your route and ip's on each set. verify your switch for proper vlan setup. I do not know your network but look a layer's one through three to start your trouble shooting.

They aren't IP phones. The fiber acts as if it is copper so they act as if they are locally connected.
