Connect/Disconnect Tone

Hey folks,

Have a small issue. Our President is a former user of Siemens products. On the Siemens phone switch you can cofigure the system so it gives you a "studder" tone after you dial a phone number to let you know that you're being connected. The switch also gives you fast busy signal to let you know that the party on the other end of your call has disconnected. Scenario...the President was on hold today, the party on the other end of the phone disconnected...the President had no idea and he was left holding the phone for several minutes.

Any help you folks could give would be appreciated.

Generally...

No tones available to indicate disconnect, at least on a digital phone.

No tone to indicate your call is in progress other than you hear ringing.

A more complicated option might be available if someone familiar with "Flexible Tones and Cadences" has done what you are looking for. You can read up on that feature if nobody posts.
