I'd like to know how I could build a home grown product that monitors NDM files on the mainframe. Currently we have email alerts and that's not working well at all. Years ago, a team member built a generic file monitor in MS Access. Basically, the file would load up with all the mainframe files in a list format in RED then we'd check the NDM log and once the file was verified as received, we'd click it to turn it green. This was a long time ago. Can I write a program to have that feature automated? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
