I have a sun box the IP 192.168.1.100 which is connected to a HUB.
A W2K box which picks up its IP address (68.x.x.x) from Cable provider which is also connected to the HUB.
Cable Modem connected to the Uplink port on the HUB.
How do make it so I can connect to the sun box from the W2K box while still being able to surf through the Cable Modem? Or is this even possible?

If your PC has 2 network cards (one for the wan (cable connection) and another to connect to the hub) then you just need to set the one that is connected to the hub up with a static IP that is in the same subnet as the other machine(s) on your network.

Then you will be able to communicate with everything. (You can also share your wan connection if you like).
