I have a Toshiba 5105 with USB ports and no Parallel port (XP Home ed.). I want to connect my Epson Action Laser 1500 (Parallel port only). Can I buy one of the USB/Par adapters and connect these together. Will the computer recognize the printer? Do I need to set and software in windows? Will the drivers work?

there are parallel to usb adapters for printers on the market.
belkin makes a good one.
as far as i understand it should be pretty much plug and play.there is some software that comes with the cable.
but your drivers and all shouldn't have to be changed. let me know if i helped or not, thanks
