I was hoping someone might have a work around for this. We have an x64 server that is our production web server. I am trying to get some legacy ASP applications working on the production server ... I got most of them working once I got ahold of the correct 64-bit OLEDB Provider from IBM to connect to our iSeries Box ... but the remainder are applications that rely on mySQL.
I cant seem to find any ODBC/OLEDB/etc driver that will work when IIS is running in 64-bit mode.
Unfortunately running IIS in 32-bit mode isnt an option due to the needs of other applications. Has anyone found a work around for this?
mySQL doesnt seem to have plans to support it anytime soon ... and I have only found one third part driver that should work (unfortunately its far to expensive for it to be approved for purchase ... several thousand dollars).
Eventually we plan to convert the Classic ASP applications to .NET ... but that isnt possible now due to limited resources to convert the multiple applications.
