connect AS400 to Exchange 5.5 HOW??

hello , we have just moved from a pop mail server to exchange 5.5 enterprise edt. How can i get our AS400, on v5.1, to send and receive emails from the new exchange server?

We use an application from American Presence that allows us to send emails AND faxes from our AS400 to our Exchange 5.5 box. IMPSGateway is what they call it.
