Question:

I am trying to connect Analysis Services (AS) to a Teradata database. When I go into AS and try to create a new data source there is no OLE DB Provider for Teradata.

Has anyone ran into this? Any solution?

Thanks for any help !!

Alan

You probably need to create an ODBC connection using the OLE DB For teradata driver.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you suggested above and then went into AS to create a data source. The test connection worked. However, when I go to build a cube, I get this:

Error: [NCR][ODBC Teradata Driver]Not enough info to log on

Doesn't make sense to me that the test connnection would work and then this. I also tried to connect to other ODBC data sources that I know work b/c I'm connecting other tools (Teradata SQL Assistant, etc), but I get the same error message as above when trying to create a cube in AS.

Any other suggestions?

Alan

you need to check the save password option.
