Thanks Geoff! That's kind of nifty. I really only post here in the VBA forum, so I've no idea who I'm "competing" against. Does this mean I can retire and rest on my laurels?

It's actually quite a feat to do it from the VBA forum alone as it is not one of the heaviest traffic forums - Access forms and VB 5/6 have far more threads per day so it's easier to get the stars that get you the top spot. As for retiring...... I hope not. I know a fair amount about VBA (especially utilising excel's native but guys like you and Mike really show me up (sorry I meant give me so much to learn from ;-) ) so please keep on posting Rgds
