Confused on IBM X336 system

NetWare 6.5.. Have a bunch of ibm servers, they all use IPSRAID.HAM for the raid controller.. except,

On a newer server X336 (1U system with Mirrored drives), instead of IPSRAID, NetWare detects and loads LSIMPTNW.HAM. Everything is fine except that I don't know if this is the correct driver to use. I feel like it should be IPSRAID but haven't dealt much with IBM servers lately. The documentation hints that the LSIMPTNW is a non-raid scsi controller only, and that RAID should use the IPSRAID.HAM.

The controller is an LSI controller.. But other vendors like DELL and HP write their own drivers, so I want to think that IBM does this too.

When I try to load IPSRAID.HAM, it fails but the error is cryptic:

Loading module IPSRAID.HAM
NetWare NWPA IBM ServeRAID Adapter HAM.
Version 7.12.02 June 22, 2005
(C) Copyright IBM Corp. 1994, 2002. All Rights Reserved.
Failure parsing Product ID options.
SERVER-5.70-1553: Module initialization failed.
Module IPSRAID.HAM NOT loaded
Module IPSRAID.HAM load status INIT FAIL

Can anybody shed some light here? Which one am I supposed to use? If IPSRAID, what does this error mean?

Thanks.
