confused abt uploading files..

Hi Guys,

I have a silly ques so pls bear with me..

I have a form, which takes user info and allows user to upload file if they wish.

I can upload a file to the destination, I want, but I dont know how to handle error,
i.e., if user doesnt upload file and hits submit, it shudnt be a problem..

any suggestions

Hi sedj..

basically I have a form.. when a user hits submit.. info entered by him (name, address etc) gets stored into a DB.. now as reqd.. I need to have a upload file field too (which is optional)...

the thing which is happening is:

if I have a file to upload.. the DB is populated and file is stored..

but if I dont upload.. the DB is to be populated.. right now if I leave the field black.. it is giving me an error
