confrence doesn't work

Hi all,

I am not able use the confrence option on my M3903 digital telsets when using predictive dialer.

Presently, we have Trudial (predictive dialer). The dialer is connected to the Meridian over Analog trunks.) The agents dial the access code of the trunks and wait in off-hook position to receive calls. After receiving the call if I want to confrence the confrence switch on M3903 does not work. I am able do confrenceing when I dial manually.

Not sure what your doing. does the dialer transfer the call to an ACD Queue and the M3903 are logged into the Queue waiting for a call? can you be alittle clearer on how and what your trying to do.
 
My guess is it's some sort of supervision thing. The agents are holding up an analog trunk to the dialer whether or not there is a caller on the line. The PBX only knows that the TN of the agent's phone has seized an analog trunk. It has no idea whether there is a call from the dialer or not. To the switch, it's analogous to seizing an outbound trunk, getting dial tone, and trying to conference another party in on that dial tone. What I'm getting at is that you're not able to conference because the switch doesn't think there is anyone on that trunk to conference with.
 
Could you give us a printout of one of the phones so we can get a better idea of what your talking about.
